My name is Ose Modi, an IBDP 2 student at Navrachana International School Vadodara, STEM enthusiast, and passionate debater. Over the years, I have participated in numerous Model United Nations conferences—both as a delegate and as an executive board member—and I have always been drawn to the intensity and strategy of crisis committees. This year, I am honored to serve as Chairperson of the United Nations Historical Security Council at NIMUN XV.
The UNHSC offers something truly unique: the opportunity to step into pivotal moments in history and explore the “what ifs” of global diplomacy. It is a space where the past meets the present, and where every decision you make could change the course of events. I encourage you to embrace this challenge with the same passion for research, creativity, and adaptability that defines the best diplomats.
My goal is to cultivate an environment where debate is sharp yet respectful, where strategy is as important as persuasion, and where every delegate leaves the room having learned something new—not just about the world, but about themselves. My name is Sahaj Patel, Head Boy of Navrachana International School Vadodara (NISV) and a Core Team Member of NIMUN XV. To me, NIMUN is not just an academic exercise, it is a space where ideas, cultures, and perspectives converge to shape meaningful dialogue and inspire real change.
This conference is a celebration of diplomacy, where delegates from diverse backgrounds step into the shoes of world leaders to address the most pressing challenges of our time. It is an opportunity to test not only your knowledge and research skills, but also your ability to listen, adapt, and find solutions through collaboration.

My name is Vatsal Desai, Cultural Affairs Captain of Navrachana International School Vadodara (NISV) and Chair of the Disarmament and International Security Committee at NIMUN XV.
In the vast expanse of space, gravitational forces that seem impossibly distant shape the trajectory of entire galaxies. Similarly, the conversations we have in this committee—about arms trafficking, regional conflicts, and international security—may seem removed from our daily lives, yet they possess the power to alter the course of nations and the fate of millions.
Today, I invite you to recognize that security is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, understanding, and sustainable peace. As we examine the complexities of arms trafficking in collapsing states, remember that behind every statistic lies a human story, and within every crisis lies an opportunity for transformative solutions.
Here, you will discover that true leadership emerges not from rigid adherence to national positions, but from the courage to listen deeply, think critically, and build bridges across the most entrenched divides.
